Salvatore Giardina is a self-taught jewelry designer. Born in Italy, he and his family came to the United
States in 1960 and settled in New York. As a young man, Salvatore believed he would pursue a career in the
medical field, however his creativity and passion for design lead him to begin designing fine jewelry. He
opened his first jewelry establishment in 1980 and it is still in existence to the present day.
